GH 2/3: His bullets and his brains are both hollow points
Cafe Interrogate: Diane and Jason discuss how Sonny has really stepped in this time by shooting a cop. Not b/c it's WRONG to shoot a cop, but because YOU CAN GET IN TROUBLE if you do it. Ah yes, show, the more you know.
Chapel: Carly finds Olivia. Olivia asks if Carly is being nice b/c she doesn't kow the whole story yet. Carly says knows all about it, and while she might have been angry on another day that it was a secret, today she knows how Olivia feels. She's been there, or close to there, and believes no mother should watch her child fight for his life, especially when his father is to blame.
Dante's room: Loo sits by Dante's bed and talks about how stilly it all seems now, this hard to get thing she's been doing, just because he was playing another game of being cocky, when really, they both fell for each other wihin seconds of meeting. Luke walks in, and looloo rushes to his embrace, saying she loves Dante, and he can't die.
Credits
Nurse's Station: Patrick and Stephen still think that this cop fighting for his life is really the Story of Who's the Better Surgeon. ay yi yi with doctor's and their God complexes.
Dante's Room: Luke says Nik called him. I always love when Nik and Luke team up to help their family. I like that it's very rare. Like the Tom and Jerry's where they get along to fight the bulldog. The conflict only works if they can also work together. Looloo tells Luke that Dante is really a cop. Luke processess it: "So Dante thought he could infiltrate the Corinthos organization, and Sonny thought he could shoot a cop and get away with it. That's a LOT of self delusion going on there." heh. Loo says she's known for awhile that Dante was a cop, but she believed Sonny would never hurt Olivia's son. But he did. She says he shot his own son. Luke reacts with that Stunned Silence thing that's been going around.
Chapel: Olivia sobs about the rock and the hard place she has been dealing with for decades.
House of Lemon Pledges: Jax explains to Michael that the truth of the matter is that Michael is guilty of manslaughter because of self defense (or some other very serious charge that could have been bought down to barely any jail time and a lot of probation) But now Sonny had to go and shoot a cop, and hide all the evidence, so now Claud's death will be treated like a murder, no matter who goes down for it. Michael thinks this is unfair b/c he's a big dum dum who doesn't get that the world is ACTUALLY set up so that when we are alone at night, and we feel threatened, we call the police. not the local mob syndicate. Jax points out that he's not Sonny's defender.
Cafe Interrogate: Oh, did I mention the part where Jason noticed that Sam has sauntered into the bullpen. under arrest. Dressed like a ridiculous hooker? cuz she is.
Bullpen: Sam Ridiculous Hooker goes through booking with Yokel Cop. She smacks her gum and speaks with the kind of southern accent actors who've never been to the south use. (it's what my Boston accent would sound like. ridiculous and fake) She flirts with Yokel and says something about wanting to get a job here b/c she's into PR, or whatever. and Yokel says that Sonny Corinthos has arrested, and she feigns surprise, but keeps digging for information.
Cafe Interrogate: Diane snaps at Jason "to quit staring at that red head out there b/c she's not even your type." Jason says she has no idea. Diane does a double take and realizes it's Sam and asks what's up. Jason shakes his head.

Bullpen: Sam Ridiculous Hooker pulls a switcheroo....or....I guess in terrible slapstick comedy, it's "a fast one" She knocks coffee onto paperwork, and Yokel rushes off to get paper towels, and she pretends to clean it up while getting all up in the evidence bag's business. Raynor sees this and barks "what's going on?"
Chapel: Olivia apologizes for the damage she's caused to Carly's family and their friendship, and she really has always liked and respected her. Carly smiles gives her a little girlfriend hug and says she likes her too. And she likes Dominique. Or Dante. and they laugh, and they Olivia cries.
Dante's room: Looloo brings Luke up to speed on Paternity Gate. Luke says it's enough to find out you have a kid you didn't know about it, but it's another to find it out at point blank range. Loo says even if Sonny didn't know Dante was his son, he still knew he was shooting a man who'd saved his own life, and saved Morgan's life, and saved her life. Come into the light, Looloo. All are welcome. All are welcome. There is peace and serenity in the light! Luke says that this is how Sonny's job works. If an undercover cop is going to arrest him, all he thinks is that he can't get put into cuffs and will do whatever. Looloo easily dismisses this and says she doesn't understand that and she hopes to never.
Commercials
Bullpen: Raynor hollers out who let the perp hang out unescorted. Jason rushes out of the interrogation room to distract Raynor. Yokel shows up with Sam's paperwork and is asically going to bust Sam without meaning to, but Raynor cuts him off. Yokel lets Sam go, and she's delighted.
Lakehouse: Morgan and Michael visit and break the no good, very bad news that not only is their father and uncle the kind of freak who shoots a cop, but that cop was also their brother (or cousin). Kristina has had just about enough and can't believe their father would shoot his own son. Michael is conflicted. Probably b/c no one got all mad at Sonny that time HE LET HIS SON TAKE A BULLET FOR KATE. That little fact is why I can't help but to hope that Michael Does Damage on this dopey father one day.
Dante's Room: Carly finds her cousin, and she does that thing she does with Looloo which is to set her own needs and selfishness aside and be an incredibly loving and decent. Loo is getting her bearings on the Hate Sonny Bandwagon and says that the things she's liked about Sonny, she realizes are all just superficial. That really, he's a man who would kill a man like Dante. Carly ate a lemon. Oh, no, nevermind. She didn't eat a lemon, but she sucks in her arguments for against or about this subject and answers simply that men are not always what they seem or what we want them to be. She's here to root for Dante and Looloo, and her love for Sonny is at this point vestigial.
Commercials
Dante's Room: Carly does her best at being politic and says she's not here to defend Sonny or put Looloo in the position of defending Dante. She says Dante and Sonny's world is complicated. Loo snaps that she doesn't get what's complicated about Sonny shooting an unarmed man who wasn't there to kill him. Carly nods and says to use that passion to fight for Dante. Looloo says she's talking about this to help her get through it, but Dante can't hear her. Carly cries that this is what everyone told her when she'd go to Whole Foods and talk to Michael. She makes it clear there is only right now, and Looloo should love Dante and not give up. Looloo tearfully turns towards Dante.
Haunted Star: Luke, Tracy and Ethan are all brought up to speed on Paternity Gate. Luke tells Tracy that his problem now is, that if Dante lives, b/c he's sonny's son, there's really no upside in Looloo being involved with him. Because Luke can internalize Sonny's life and understand it, but he hates it for people he loves as much as anyone sane in this town does.
Lakehouse: Kristina and Michael face off about Dante is a cop and lied vs Sonny is a criminal and didn't betray them. Milly says that regardless of any of their hurt feelings or confusion, surely their "powerful" uncle Sonny had some other option besides murder, "like running him out of town." But the problem is that killing a cop is not like killing an underdeveloped character portrayed by a multi Emmy winning actress. You do not pass go. You do not collect $200. They staple the get out of jail free car to your balls. She asks if anyone doubts that Sonny is guilty. They all look at each other, and the silence is deafening.

Nurse's Station: Oh, and this show episode, Robin has been bugging Patrick for not telling her sooner that he knew Dante is Sonny and Olivia's son. Robin insists she could have waved her magic nose ring and fixed it all. Patrick snaps that she kept from him that Nik and Liz are cheating. She asks how that's relevant. He points out that he and Liz yearn for each other secretly. Or really he says Liz is his friend, and he'd have tried to help her. The fight some more, and she calls him an ass. heh. Lisa takes this all in like all that Monistat she used during her slutty, wild college years.
Chapel: Jax and Olivia meet up and assure each other that they made mistakes, but their hearts were in the right place for a soap: self gratification.
Dante's Room: Loo tells Dante she needs him to wake up. She says she'll make it worth his while. She won't push him away, and she wants to be with him. She says she only pushed him away because he was so cocky about it. She gets flirty and says he has to wake up and be the sweet, funny, sexy....and then her dopey brother Ethan walks in. Ethan says he knows what it's like to be thrown for a loop and find out who your father is, he'll need a lot of support. Dante stirs, and Loo peers into his face. he focuses on her face and says "hey you" and that it's good to see her. She smiles sweetly and understates that it's good to see him too. Glad this didn't go a Juliet and Sawyer route!

and I should correct, I'm NOT saying people are slutty if they've ever used Monistat. I was just making a joke at Lisa and her stupid fake wild child stories.
House of Lemon Pledges: Jason visits Carly and says that he has to ask Carly a favor. She is really not looking to keep repairing the wheels on the Sonny bandwagon. Jason says he thinks she's the only one who can talk Sonny into leaving the country.
Lakehouse: Molly, Morgan and Krisitina continue to yell about how their dad/uncle is gross and kills people. Michael barks that Sonny didn't kill Claudia, he did. and good for him for saying it out loud, but how does that change the fact that 1. Sonny was absolutely going to kill Claudia if he'd found her first and there wouldn't be any gray area about self defense or adrenaline. It would have been in the same cold blood he tried to kill Dante. and 2. Dante is their friend who saved Sonny's and Morgan's lives and is a cop. I mean, it's fair to have a different set of opinions about what Michael did and what Sonny did, so that Michael kills people doesn't make what Sonny does okay. But on this show, for some reason, that like...soldiers kill people means it's okay for Sonny to murder people.
Dante's Room: Dante talks about his weird dream in which he was some dream like combination of Morgan and not Morgan but also Sonny's son. He wonders why he dreamt that. Poor looloo who just spent 12 hours praying and crying and promising to be there for Dante, realizes she already has to tell her first lie by saying nothing. Yep, it's that quick sometimes.

Your title sums up this whole storyline. Maybe if all the non-Sonny fans could send caps to TPTB they would bust one in his ass.

As a past user of Monistat I take no offense to the reference and it was so fitting!!!! And now everytime I play Monopoly I'll imagine Uncle Moneybags with the Get Out of Jail Free card stapled to his balls!!
