YnR 1/3: Drugged Fake Rape Babies for Everyone!
Previously on Young and Restless:
we finally learn The Big Terrible Thing Billy did in Myanmar. Victoria and Billy learn that they finally got a hit on their adoption profile that they set up a year ago, so the scurry home from their honeymoon. Crazy Ass Annie Lavery nee Novak shows up on New Year's Eve to spill the beans. Her claim is that Billy raped her. Billy insists this isn't true, but unfortunately he was blacked out for most of the night. Crazy Ass Annie reveals her (not at all surprising) pregnant belly.
I don't know why they are throwing in the rape nonsense. No way do I buy Billy raped this woman. Knocking up some other woman is sufficient to break Victoria's barren heart.
Also, Nikki fakes being drunk to find out what Deacon really knows about the night that Everyone Murdered Diane. and Victor is mad at her, so he revenge proposes to Sharon. Who? Is sleeping with Adam again. Because she's even crazier than Annie. I love mean ol' evil Adam, and I even like Sharon and Adam together, but how could she ever get it up for a man who was going to let her rot in prison for 3 decades? But Sharon can't learn a damn thing to save her life and later tells a drunk Adam that Victor proposed. Yes, dummy, this should work out splendidly for you. geesh.
Avery finally notices that Nick and Phyllis sort of have a thing. She acts all withering and hurt by this. Avery is kind of dumb sometimes. Nick admits he still loves Phyllis, and then goes to her apartment. and Phyllis, who has been having sex with Ronan all night, jumps into his arms. Phyllis might be kind of a slut, y'all.
Horribly Annoying Patty is a mess all over the place, as usual, and she drugs Jack and then crawls into bed with him. Jack wakes up later to find a cat staring at him. This would not normally be unsettling, but if you have a Patty in your life, it's up there with clown dolls and horse heads.
Gen hires Ronan for some private dick work, as in detective.
Victor sadly sits in jail and remembers ringing in the New Year when Nikki and his Stache were so very, very young. He cries that he'll always be here for Nikki.
On with today
Phyllis Bordello; Nick stayed the night. They muse about how confusing and slutty they are that they were on dates with other people several hours ago. But another way to look at it: That was last year, so let's pretend it's not gross! Nick says this isn't about sex for him. Phyllis doesn't know, she's confused.
House of the Hideous Sofa: Victoria's Hair: It's very pretty in the back, with a twisted bun, but the front looks like she put it up in the dark, with just seahorse skeletons to use as a comb. But then, there are messy, disastrous tendrils falling about her face in a way that is comically haggard and gorgeous. I love it. Billy goes off to work, or whatever it is he does, and victoria leaves a message for her mom.
Gym Bar: Nikki and Adam chat while the Strings of New and Evil Beginnings ominously warn against an unholy alliance between these two. They lament the engagement of the loves of their lives.
Jail: Sharon turns down Victor's proposal. she's still wearing the ice rink on her finger, though. Victor wants to continue with this baffling concept.
