Nikki, Nick and Phyllis find footage of Deacon and Diane schtupping.  It's filmed on Super 8 but someone took the trouble to put it on a computer.  Whatever, it gives motive to Deacon, so Nikki rushes off to tell Victor that he doesn't have to marry his daughter.  Meanwhile Phyllis decides that she could seduce Deacon to get more info.  I love that no matter what is going on, Phyllis is always offers to have sex with something.  

"dammit, I forgot the cranberries."  

Phyllis: "I could seduce the grocer into bringing us some."

"yeah, or I could just, you know, go back to the store and pay the $3 for them."  

As the mail man arrives, Phyllis appears at the front door in her negligee, flips the hair out of her eyes "hey, um, what would it take for you to put something in my box?"

Mailman: Nothing,  ma'am, I'm required by law to put this in your mailbox.

Phyllis:  such a flirt.

 To Summer's math teacher, " I sure would like to talk about that A that summer got on her quiz.  Maybe there's some way I could trade a B cup for an A plus?"

Phyllis clumsily flirts with Deacon, but then Nick jumps in and ruins her sloppiness even more.

It's all irrelevant because Nikki tells Victor that she thinks Deacon really killed Diane, and that she's been faking drunkenness and married Deacon to get info from him.  Victor asks her to go to Paul for help.

Nikki meets Paul at Ronan's seedy motel.  Ronan learned that Deacon has a sketchy alibi, and he believes that Deacon has been taking all the super 8 footage, and if they can just find the camera, they'll have a case against Deacon.

Ronan and Nikki question Gloria again about the night of Diane's murder.  Nikki gets a call from Nick warning her that he and Phyllis clumsily tipped off Deacon that everyone knows he slept with Diane.  Nikki manages to get herself locked out of Gloworm, but it's magically lucky timing b/c she does this just as Deacon approaches and starts rummaging around in a vent.  He discovers that she's watching him and kidnaps her to an abandoned warehouse.  he shows her super 8 footage of Diane sitting on top of her and strangling her, and then of herself bashing in Diane's brain with a rock.  In the warehouse, Nikki sobs that she killed Diane.  Ronan shows up with some cops who silently surround Deacon.  Ronan demands Deacon untie Nikki, and asks Nikki to handcuff Deacon to the chair.  Nikki tearfully obeys.

Nikki stands and sniffs, "um, so....I killed Diane."  I didn't expect her to admit that.  Ronan is nonplussed b/c he has the complete reel of Diane and Nikki's interaction in the park.  Don't ask me how the complete version also contains the snippets that Nikki already saw.  I guess Deacon went to the insanely expensive expense of copying the super 8 to yet more super 8?    Regardless of the illogic, Ronan claims that Nikki clearly acted in self defense b/c the full version shows that Diane tried to inject Nikki with the infamous syringe, but Nikki managed to get Diane instead. Also, Diane chased Nikki, knocked her down and tried to strangle her to death.  

Nikki is livid with Deacon for turning so many lives upside down by keeping this from everyone.  Nikki asks to borrow Ronan's car, and he immediately agrees, and Nikki rushes off to tell Victor.

Ronan puts on some black gloves and sifts through the items in a bag he found.  ronan tells Deacon he'll be charged with whatever crime Ronan can make stick, such as obstruction of justice, etc.

Nikki rushes into the prison just as Victor and Sharon are pronounced husband and wife.
